January 23, 2006--It's taken us awhile, but we're here... finally. New year, new site. Doesn't it look SMART? We hope that you like some of the new features like the "photos" section, where you can check out great party pictures that didn't make the magazine. Maybe you'll see yourself or your friend or your crush or the person crushing on you. Another great feature is this blog-ish, news section that you're reading right now. We'll always have current news, random thoughts, best shopping and sales, party information, whatever! But, the best thing about the new site--you can subscribe to the magazine (credit card or check/money order)! And if you're not subscribing to SMART, you should be!

Right now, we're working on the March/April 2006 issue. Just last week we did a super hot (literally, it was so bleeping hot) swimwear photo shoot with model Edyta and photographer Ronen Zilberman. We used The Contemporary Museum on Tantalus as the backdrop and it was gorgeous. Can't wait for you guys to see it! Other things to look forward to in the next issue: features on Aloha Rag and Muumuu Heaven, a guide to hair treatments at local hair salons, how to get long eyelashes (We Tried It!), best blushes, local personal shoppers and more.

1. Momofuku and Kuma Inn--my favorite East Village restaurant (RIP 2nd Avenue Deli) that has the best pork ramen (I dream about the pork) and my favorite LES restaurant (what up, King!)
2. Shopping: A.P.C., Century 21, Daffy's, American Apparel American Apparel, Opening Ceremony, Poppy, Sigerson Morrison, Anna Sui, Jill Stuart, Marni, H&M, Tokio7, etc.
3. Playing ping-pong at the new Staple Design office. Great outgoing message guys!
4. Corner Bistro with a few members of the Red Sox Nation. And actually every meal that I had with friends. I miss everyone. A lot.
